Born in Middletown, New Jersey, on April 6, 1998, Judah is the son of a pastor and a product of the gospel culture. He first took an interest in rap upon listening to Mos Def's Black on Both Sides, an album he returns to regularly. His first performance, a spoken word piece he performed at his high school graduation, sparked a wave of local buzz that he continues to ride into the present day. His musical influences span a wide variety of genres and eras; from Roberta Flack and '70s soul to Isaiah Rashad and modern alternative hip hop.
